How we report news
CutoffBridge News is written from official notices only. How stories are made, checked, corrected and who is responsible.
Last updated 3 Nov 2026
CutoffBridge News covers counselling and entrance exam updates for students and parents: JEE Main, JEE Advanced, JoSAA and CSAB today, and NEET PG and other exams later. Our aim is to be the fastest accurate source, and to connect every update to the data students need next.
Official sources only
Every story is based on one official document: a public notice, schedule, result or information bulletin published by the exam or counselling authority, such as the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organising IIT for JEE Advanced, JoSAA or CSAB.
- Each story links to the official document it is based on.
- We do not report rumours, social media posts, "sources say" claims or other websites' stories.
- We do not predict dates, results or cutoffs in news stories. Where an official notice leaves something out, the story says it has not been announced.
How a story is made
CutoffBridge watches the official websites every minute. When a new notice appears:
- The notice is downloaded and its text is read.
- A draft story is written automatically by an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic), using only the text of that notice and our house rules.
- Software checks the draft against the notice before anything is published. Every date, time and number in the story must appear in the official document, the official link must be present, and the story must follow our length and wording rules. A draft that fails any check is not published; it is held for a person to review.
- The story is published with the time it went live, and is sent to our Telegram channel.
Our counselling content lead, Dharaneesh R.A, oversees CutoffBridge News, reviews published stories and handles corrections.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it in public. The corrected story shows what changed and when, and serious corrections are listed in our corrections log. To report a mistake, write to hello@cutoffbridge.com.
We never change a story's publish time to make it look newer. When we add real new information, the story shows an "Updated" time.
Independence
CutoffBridge is independent and not affiliated with NTA, JoSAA, CSAB, the IITs, MCC or any counselling authority. We do not take payment to publish or change news stories, and stories carry no paid placements.
