In JoSAA 2026, Mechanical Engineering closed at 32 NITs between JEE Main rank 8,754 (NIT Tiruchirappalli) and 59,028 (NIT Nagaland); at 2 IIITs between JEE Main rank 41,275 (IIITDM Jabalpur) and 45,984 (IIITDM Kancheepuram); at 15 GFTIs between JEE Main rank 41,505 (PEC Chandigarh) and 1,15,457 (Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya), for OPEN, gender-neutral seats in the final round.
